SimCity 4 (SC4) is a city-building simulation computer game developed by Maxis, a subsidiary of Electronic Arts. It was released on January 14, 2003. It is the fourth installment in the SimCity series. SimCity 4 has a single expansion pack known as Rush Hour which adds additional features to the game. SimCity 4: Deluxe Edition contained the original game and Rush Hour combined as a single product.
The game allows players to create a region of land by terraforming, and then to design and build a settlement which can grow into a city. Players can zone different areas of land as commercial, industrial, or residential development, as well as build and maintain public services, transport and utilities. For the success of a city players must manage its finances, environment, and quality of life for its residents. SimCity 4 introduces night and day cycles and other special effects for the first time in the SimCity series. External tools such as the Building Architect Tool (BAT) allow custom third party buildings and content to be added to the gameplay.

The action takes place immediately after the long-awaited apocalypse becomes all zombies. Four of the surviving heroes will fight for life, they find themselves in an unknown city, it is somewhere far beyond, with the surrounding environment is constantly changing, as scenes from the film. At each stage of the proposed creators of the movie "four heroes to perform a particular task; can play as one, and four players for each topic they are invited to five cards.
The new dynamic system, called the developers "AI Director", changes the course of the game, depending on the behavior of players, tuning the difficulty level. As in Hollywood films, from anywhere, there are new creatures, change the sound and the surrounding reality – all depends on how the team plays.

So apparently this is a polished up remake of a game by the same name released in 2001 for PC and the original Xbox. The textures have been sharpened and colors brightened to make this seem like an ?HD? version of the original game. I believe that other than the fact that it?s ?HD?, it?s exactly the same as the original. People that played the first one maythis one for nostalgia purposes, although the original game got decent reviews (7.7 on IGN).

Before the advent of LCD screens, most computer screens were based on cathode ray tubes (CRTs). When the same image is displayed on a CRT screen for long periods of time, the properties of the exposed areas of phosphor coating on the inside of the screen gradually and permanently change, eventually leading to a darkened shadow or "ghost" image on the screen. Cathode ray televisions, oscilloscopes and other devices that use CRTs are all susceptible to phosphor burn-in, as are plasma displays to some extent.
Screen-saver programs were designed to help avoid these effects by automatically changing the images on the screen during periods of user inactivity.
For CRTs used in public, such as ATMs and railway ticketing machines, the risk of burn-in is especially high because a stand-by display is shown whenever the machine is not in use. Older machines designed without burn-in problems taken into consideration often display evidence of screen damage, with images or text such as "Please insert your card" (in the case of ATMs) visible even when the display changes while the machine is in use. Blanking the screen is out of the question as the machine would appear to be out of service. In these applications, burn-in is prevented by shifting the position of the display contents every few seconds, or by having a number of different images that are changed regularly.
Modern CRTs are much less susceptible to burn-in than older models due to improvements in phosphor coatings, and because modern computer images are generally lower contrast than the stark green- or white-on-black text and graphics of earlier machines. LCD computer monitors, including the display panels used in laptop computers, are not susceptible to burn-in because the image is not directly produced by phosphors (although they can suffer from a less extreme and usually non-permanent form of image persistence). For these reasons, screensavers today are primarily decorative or for entertainment, and usually feature moving images or patterns and sometimes sound effects.
One increasingly popular application is for screensavers to activate a useful background task, such as ascan or a distributed computing application (such as the SETI@home project). This is convenient because these applications use resources only when the computer would be otherwise idle.
